Excitement is building as we get ready to begin our 6-week program with funds received through a grant from NH Humanities in support of our NEA Big Read featuring the Pulitzer prize-winning classic by John Steinbeck, The Grapes of Wrath.
Working with our 15 library partners and the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce, we will launch a series of programs running for six weeks beginning on September 15. Whether you enjoy book discussions, films, living history presenters, historical talks, concerts, dances, or art making, there will be something for everyone.
Mark your calendars for our kick-off event on Sunday, September 18 from 4-7 at LaBelle Winery in Amherst and grab a copy of the book and start reading. The book is better than you remember and full of connections to our contemporary world.
